South Pattaya (Pattaya Tai) - not the southern-most part of Pattaya as the Buddha Hill headland, Pratumnak and then Jomtien, lie further south, but the section of Pattaya adjacent to the southern end of Pattaya Beach and extending inland to both the north and south of South Pattaya Road. Includes The sois from Central Pattaya Road, Pattayaland and Walking Street. Does not include Buddha Hill or Jomtien. This is the busiest area of Pattaya for tourism but has the least number of Condo Developments. Central Pattaya (Pattaya Klang) extends south along the beach from The Dusit Resort on the north headland of Pattaya Bay to Central Pattaya Road (Pattaya Klang) and then inland all the way to the main Sukhumvit highway. It is difficult to specify where Central Pattaya ends and South Pattaya begins. We have included in our list of condos in Central Pattaya some condo deveopments on the south side of Central road between second road and Sukhumvit highway. This area is well served by Baht bus routes so getting anywhere within Pattaya and beyond from this area is not a problem. Traffic does however get snarled up especially at holiday weekends. Bangkok Thais flock down in their car loads and bus loads. Along the beach there are a good few condo developments with stunning views over Pattaya Bay and stunning prices to match. North Pattaya (Pattaya Nua) and Naklua - has quick, frequent, and inexpensive transport to and from the rest of Pattaya as well as the proximity of the main North Pattaya bus station. There is an excellent fresh food market in Naklua. Seafood is a speciality but get there early preferably around dawn for the best, freshest and tastiest seafood on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand North Pattaya has traditionally been popular with visitors whose native language is German. However there is nowadays a much more international atmosphere with visitors and residents from all parts of the globe including a large Russian presence as has many other areas of Pattaya.
